Lancaster, Kittson County (trfnews.i234.me) – A developing situation in far northwest Minnesota this Monday afternoon has sparked confusion and concern as conflicting reports surface about an ICE operation in Lancaster.
A TRF News viewer reports the raid took place at an apartment complex in Lancaster—not at the workplace—during a shift change. The viewer claims that around eight Nicaraguans, reportedly with legal documentation, were detained. These individuals were believed to be employed by Podco, a local company specializing in powder coating and laser cutting.
In direct response, Randy Nordin, co-owner of Podco, reached out to TRF News with a firm denial. He confirmed that none of the ICE activity occurred at their plant, and that all Podco employees are verified for work eligibility through an independent verification service. Nordin also stated that the company has not received any information from ICE about the operation.
As of now, the situation remains unclear. We are actively seeking further details and will provide updates as they become available.
