Ice House Squatter Case In Moorhead


MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A woman is facing criminal charges, after allegedly squatting in a ice house parked in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Alyssa Anne Reyes has been charged with felony firstderee damage to property and misdemeanor trespass in Morehead. Uh reading from the statement of probable cause with the names of witnesses and her officers omitted on September 26, 2025, 1:51 p.m. Law enforcement responded to an address in Morehead on a report that a female had broken into an ice fishing house. The owner of the ice house was storing it on the property over the summer months and went to the property that day with the property owner. The men noticed that the flap covering the ventilation to the bathroom was unsecured. The owner observed what appeared to be primarks on the door and found wire cutters next to the damaged vent on the roof. A woman was found inside uh later identified as Reyes and it appeared she had been living in the ice house as she had a lot of property with her and the toilet had been used. Again, as we said, uh the suspect identified as Alyssa Reyes. Uh cost of damage to the ice house is over $3,000. Bob Carlson fornews.tv.
