Hubbard County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Park Rapids woman is facing a gross misdemeanor charge after allegedly driving with a license canceled as inimical to public safety, according to Hubbard County court documents.

Incident Overview
On July 13, 2025, Officer Tylor Farden of the Park Rapids Police Department was on patrol along First Avenue East when he identified a driver he recognized from previous contacts as 34-year-old Alicia Fae Kingbird. A records check revealed Kingbird’s license had been canceled due to public safety concerns.

Traffic Stop and Arrest
Farden reported that Kingbird made an evasive turn into a parking lot after he pulled behind her vehicle. He conducted a traffic stop, confirmed her license status, and placed her under arrest. Kingbird was transported to the Hubbard County Jail.

Charge Details
Kingbird has been charged with driving after cancellation inimical to public safety under Minnesota Statute 171.24, subdivision 5. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.
