Hubbard County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Park Rapids man has been charged with eight felony counts of disseminating pornographic material involving minors under the age of 14, according to newly filed court documents in Hubbard County.
Defendant Identified
The suspect, 19-year-old David Ayden Haddy, of Park Rapids, Minnesota, is accused of sharing explicit materials involving children through social media platforms including Kik and Discord. Investigators allege the offenses occurred between July 2024 and May 2025.
Details of the Charges
Court records indicate each felony count carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, a $20,000 fine, or both. The charges stem from multiple reports received by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through their CyberTipline, which flagged suspected child sexual abuse material linked to Haddy’s accounts.
Investigation Findings
Authorities say Haddy used several online aliases, including “cupolibertea,” “quentin164,” and “jamiegerdain,” to share videos and images of prepubescent minors. The materials, investigators report, depicted graphic sexual acts involving children as young as 2 to 3 years old.
The investigation connected Haddy’s activity to IP addresses linked to his residence at Meadowview Apartments in Park Rapids and to a phone number reportedly registered to him since childhood. Law enforcement executed a search warrant on July 16, 2025, leading to Haddy’s detention.
During a Mirandized interview, Haddy allegedly admitted to viewing and sharing the material, stating he had been “in a dark place” and acknowledging he began accessing such content at age 16. He also admitted to using multiple accounts after previous ones were blocked.
Court Proceedings
Haddy remains in custody under an order of detention. The criminal complaint warns that failure to appear in court could result in additional felony penalties.
