foreign we’ve had a murder in Minot this in from the Minot Police Department Friday at 6 44 PM officers responded to a Minot motel in the Northwest part of the city for a report of an assault upon arrival officers located an unconscious male outside with apparent serious life-threatening injuries the victim a 57-year-old Mayo was transported to Trinity Hospital the investigation determined that the suspect a 33-year-old Casey Vollmer struck the victim multiple times as the victim was leaving the hotel officers were able to locate Valmer inside one of the rooms around 11 pm he was taken into custody Vollmer was taken to the Ward County jail and initially held on a charge of aggravated assault on Sunday at 10 03 PM the victims succumbed to his injuries at Trinity Hospital Vollmer is now being held at the Ward County Jail on a charge of murder a class double a felony investigation into the incident is continuing the name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
