Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Oct. 25 at 2:01 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Center Street West and 140th Avenue Southwest.
At the time of the accident, a Red Lake Falls man was driving a 1991 Ford truck westbound on Center Street West. He activated the left-turn signal and was turning onto 140th Avenue Southeast.
An unknown motorist moved into the eastbound lane, attempting to pass the vehicle while the man was turning left. The unknown motorist’s vehicle then collided with the truck.
The motorist fled the scene following the collision.
