Hillsboro, ND Man Hurt by High Winds in Breaking News Incident

HILLSBORO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) One man was injured when high winds knocked over a tree on a van Thursday.
Neil Berg down here in Hillsboro North Dakota on a Thursday evening where they’re still picking up the pieces after a man was injured when a tree fell on his van right here can also see powerlines knocked down this is in the northeast corner of town a talk with Sheriff Steve hunt apparently the man was just coming around the corner there and a tree fell on his van on the storm rolled through about 4:15 this afternoon the van has been moved now what this large tree fell on it man was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries and surprisingly here most of the damage in Hillsborough is just contained to the northeast corner of town here sheriff hunt says there are about 10 good-sized trees that were knocked over see this year I talked to the weather service their highest wind recording we only have engaged with the southeast of town was at up 46 miles per hour but looking at some of the damage here it was clearly much higher winds than 46 miles per hour so were you here when it did look so is this a straight-line wind or a tornado or things better things were spinning around and you could hardly see because the rain was coming down so hard we got some hail but it was also blowing everything like in circles and up and down and it was crazy well it’s kind of strange I drove through town and it’s just like this one little area got it oh really it was bad I was just telling my husband that it was kind of frightening being home alone when that was going on I can’t shake it from the Thunder a little bit yeah I came outside inspect everything that was all over the place so the northeast corner of town here gets blasted by high winds Thursday afternoon high enough to knock down a tree on a van and caused minor injuries to a man in Hillsboro North Dakota I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
