Hillsboro, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A Hillsboro, North Dakota man is facing serious criminal charges after an explosive confrontation at a Burger King where he worked.
According to court documents, on February 21, Jordon Overmyer entered the Burger King angrily shouting at his boss, calling her names, and allegedly threatening to kill her. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute over unpaid work.
The victim told police she had hired people, including Overmyer, to help move a washer and dryer at her residence. However, when she informed him that he wouldn’t be paid since he didn’t actually do any work, he became enraged.
Another employee later told police that Overmyer has “anger issues,” further raising concerns about the threat’s credibility.
Charges Against Overmyer:
✅ Felony terrorizing
✅ Misdemeanor disorderly conduct
Authorities are continuing their investigation, and Overmyer could face significant legal consequences if convicted.
