FERTILE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Four people were hospitalized following a collision at the intersection of Highway 32 and 330th Avenue in Sundal Township, about 3.5 miles south of Fertile, Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash occurred at 6:18 p.m. on Friday. An eastbound Toyota Tundra, driven by Colby James Broome, 20, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, collided with a Ford F150 driven by Karen Louise Plante, 63, of McIntosh, Minnesota.

Stephen Wayne Jernigan, 43, of Crestview, Florida, a passenger in Broome’s vehicle, was transported to a hospital in Ada with non-life-threatening injuries. Plante and two boys, ages 11 and 8, were taken to a Fosston hospital with minor injuries.

All involved had their seat belts on, airbags were deployed, and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
