On Friday evening, a motorcycle pursuit occurred on the north side of Bemidji, in which officers hit speeds of up to 100 miles per hour chasing a motorcyclist who ended up on Highway 71. Initial radio traffic indicated that a dirt bike was being pursued by North Beltrami units, and later radio traffic suggested that the motorcyclist crashed out near the Beltrami County Fairgrounds.
