High Speed, Friday Night Motorcycle Chase Near Bemidji

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) We had high speed motorcycle pursuit near Bemidji Friday night.

– Motorcycle pursuit on the north side of Bemidji on Friday evening
– Officers hit speeds of up to 100 mph chasing a motorcyclist
– Pursuit ended up on Highway 71 southbound
– Motorcyclist was riding a red dirt bike
– Pursuit started from Wildwood and headed towards the high BFF
– Officers from North Beltrami were in pursuit
– Motorcyclist crashed near the Beltrami County Fairgrounds

On Friday evening, a motorcycle pursuit occurred on the north side of Bemidji, in which officers hit speeds of up to 100 miles per hour chasing a motorcyclist who ended up on Highway 71. Initial radio traffic indicated that a dirt bike was being pursued by North Beltrami units, and later radio traffic suggested that the motorcyclist crashed out near the Beltrami County Fairgrounds.   2. Crazy! Like you're ever going to outrun a police car? (Or never run out of gas?) Car chases bewilder me as they WILL end sometime, one way or the other…. Hopefully noone was hurt.
