IOWA CITY, Iowa – Madi Hicks is tied for seventh place to pace the North Dakota State women’s golf team after day one of the Diane Thomason Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course on Monday.
Hicks (76-71–147) closed out the second round with a 71 (-1) on the par 72 course and is tied for seventh place. Hannah Dunk (79-71–150) also carded a 71 (-1) in the second round and is tied for 16th place.
Elise Hoven (73-78–151) is tied for 21st place and Norah Roberts (75-81–156) is tied for 40th place. Cora Larson (80-79–159) rounds out the group tied for 54th place.
As a team, the Bison put together rounds of 303 and 299 for a total of 602 and sit in fifth place in the 15-team tournament. Iowa (288-299–587) is in first place, while Wisconsin (299-295–594) is in second place. Montana State (300-298–598) closes out the top three in third place.
