Hibbing area, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) ā A fire destroyed a home south of Hibbing on Wednesday morning. No injuries were reported.
According to Friends of the Northland FireWire, the fire was reported around 10:15 a.m. It happened on West Swan River Drive near Silica Township.
Friends of the Northland FireWire reported the home was fully engulfed when first responders arrived. Officials said no one was hurt in the blaze.
Multiple Departments Responded
Friends of the Northland FireWire said nine fire departments responded. Crews came from St. Louis County and Itasca County.
The departments listed as responding included Silica and Hibbing. Goodland and Toivola also responded.
Meadowlands and Elmer crews were also sent to the scene. Nashwauk and Keewatin responded as well.
Cherry firefighters also assisted at the fire scene.

Cause Still Under Investigation
The cause of the fire has not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
No estimate of damage was provided in the initial report. It is not clear how many people lived in the home.
Officials have not reported what started the fire. They also have not shared how long crews stayed on scene.
