Hennepin County: Sahal Said Ahmed Declared Wanted Fugitive After Weapons Conviction

Hennepin County (trfnews.i234.me) — Sahal Said Ahmed, born January 1, 1990, has officially been classified as a wanted fugitive by the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) as of March 21, 2025.

Ahmed was convicted on weapons charges in Hennepin County under court file number 27-CR-21-15320, sentenced on June 23, 2022, and last released on September 30, 2024. Authorities report that Ahmed has violated his supervised release conditions and is now the focus of an active statewide manhunt.

DOC Agent Kris Sprague is supervising the case, and officials advise the public not to approach Ahmed but to report sightings immediately.
