Investigators have uncovered a disturbing manifesto in the possession of the alleged gunman, who also had a “No Kings” document inside a fake police vehicle used in the ambush.
The manifesto reportedly listed multiple pro-choice supporters, including prominent Democratic lawmakers, as targets, suggesting a politically motivated rampage. Officials are analyzing digital and physical evidence collected from the suspect’s car, believed to have been rigged to impersonate law enforcement, allowing him to get close to the victims without raising suspicion.
The FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension have joined local authorities in the investigation, citing the case as a major threat to public safety and democratic institutions.
