Hennepin County, MN – Authorities have issued a fugitive alert for Derrick James Benbow, who is currently wanted after violating the terms of his release. Benbow, born on June 25, 1979, was last released from custody on June 8, 2020, but has been declared a wanted fugitive as of January 19, 2023.
Benbow was originally sentenced on March 13, 2014, in Hennepin County for criminal sexual conduct, under court file number 27-CR-07-010397. His case is being handled by Agent Jahmal Mattson, and authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant.
