Hennepin County (trfnews.i234.me) — Chaos erupted Sunday night in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, as police responded to a shocking double shooting at a busy city park.
According to authorities, officers found a 19-year-old woman with a devastating gunshot wound to the head inside Sandborn Park. First responders provided emergency life-saving treatment on the scene before transporting her to North Memorial Hospital. Her injuries were described as “grave” and life-threatening.
Meanwhile, a man in his 20s, suffering from a separate gunshot wound, arrived independently at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center for specialized trauma care.
Police say that despite the large crowd present at Sandborn Park when the shots were fired, witnesses provided little to no helpful information to investigators. As of now, no suspects are in custody, and Robbinsdale Police continue to ask anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
This alarming event leaves a community rattled and desperate for answers as investigators work to piece together what led to the violence.
