Helen (Schneider) Gunderson, Mesa AZ, died on May 6th, 2024.
Helen was born June 23, 1939 in Medina, MN to Ralph and Rita (Conner) Schneider.
Helen was raised in the small town of Loretto, MN and attended SS. Peter & Paul Church in Loretto before attending St. Michael Catholic High School graduating in 1958.
Shortly after graduating, she started working at Pillsbury in Minneapolis, MN.
Helen married Russell Gunderson on April 18, 1964 at Incarnation church in Minneapolis.
They moved to North Dakota in 1966 and started farming in 1967 and lived on the same farm until 2003 when they moved to Grand Forks, ND.
Helen had a variety of jobs in ND, but mainly spent her time raising their three boys.
Helen is proceeded in death by husband Russell Gunderson and survived by her three sons Mark, Brian with a daughter Bria and a son Evan, and Paul married to Sheila (Berglund) Gunderson with three children, Nathan, Owen, and Lydia.
The memorial service will be held in the Minneapolis area at a time / date to be determined.
