Police report that 81-year-old Bradley French sustained serious head injuries and is currently hospitalized in stable condition. According to court documents, 43-year-old Lance Alexander Tolbert attacked French with a hammer in the restroom of Mount Royal Market on Friday before fleeing the scene. Tolbert was apprehended shortly afterward. Authorities confirm that French and Tolbert did not know each other before the attack.
