HALSTAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In Halstad, Minnesota, 25-year-old Matthew Warner and his wife, 24-year-old Peggy Warner, are facing serious charges related to the abuse of their 6-week-old infant. Both are charged with felony malicious punishment of a child and gross misdemeanor endangerment of a child, which could cause harm or death.
On July 12th, the infant was brought to Sanford Fargo’s Children’s Urgent Care Clinic with seizures and bruising. The child was later transferred to Sanford Emergency. Matthew Warner claimed ignorance about the origin of the marks on the child’s head. The criminal complaint notes a high suspicion of non-accidental trauma, according to the child’s progress report under trauma.
