Moorhead (trfnews.i234.me) – A violent night unfolded just before midnight in Moorhead, Clay County, when police responded to reports of a disturbance and gunfire in the 700 block of 15th Street North.
Soon after the initial call, officers discovered shell casings at the intersection of 16th Street and 8th Avenue North. Authorities reportedly identified a suspect and began searching for a Nissan vehicle with a hole in the passenger-side window—details relayed via police radio.
Adding to the mystery, officers recovered a shoe and a cell phone believed to belong to someone who fled the scene on foot.
Then, at around 1:00 a.m., a person with a gunshot wound to the ankle arrived at a local hospital. It’s not yet confirmed if this individual is connected to the earlier incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate, and more updates are expected soon.
