GRIGGS COUNTY, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Two Cooperstown residents are facing serious drug trafficking charges following a Thursday afternoon raid in the heart of town.
According to authorities, the Cooperstown Police Department, assisted by Griggs County deputies and other agencies, executed search warrants at two locations — a Main Street thrift store and a nearby residence connected to the suspects.
The investigation led to the arrest of Hayley Brandner and Blair Froiland, both of Cooperstown. They are now facing multiple charges including:
-
Delivery of a controlled substance
-
Delivery of marijuana
-
Possession of methamphetamine
-
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Law enforcement sources confirmed that several controlled substances were seized during the coordinated searches. The activity drew attention from local residents as marked patrol cars and officers were seen entering both the business and home.
Court documents are expected to provide further details once the affidavit of probable cause is filed, likely later today. The case remains under investigation by the Griggs County Sheriff’s Office and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Authorities have not released further information on the quantities of drugs recovered or whether additional suspects may be charged.
