Greenbush (trfnews.i234.me) — A Greenbush man with a history of drunk driving is back in legal trouble after being clocked at 80 mph in a 60 zone and arrested for driving under the influence on June 22, 2025.
According to the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Damian Moore was patrolling eastbound on Highway 11 around 4:28 PM when he stopped a speeding vehicle near 220th Street. The driver, Diosvel Lopez, 42, presented a Nebraska ID.
Deputy Moore detected the smell of alcohol and observed that Lopez had bloodshot, watery eyes. Lopez denied drinking, but failed multiple field sobriety tests and registered a PBT of .144. A subsequent DataMaster test showed a BAC of .11, well above the legal limit of .08.
Compounding the offense, records revealed Lopez had two prior DWI convictions within the past 10 years. He now faces two gross misdemeanor DWI charges, each punishable by up to one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.
