HARVEY, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On January 11, a 33-year-old male, Grant Sartain, was arrested in Harvey County on multiple charges. According to court documents, a woman reported that Sartain threw a highchair at her. Further investigation revealed that on January 1, Sartain allegedly threw a knife at a wall, which struck the woman in the leg. He also reportedly took her phone to prevent her from contacting emergency services.
Law enforcement suggested the individuals separate, offering Sartain temporary accommodation and transportation, which he declined. The following day, Sartain allegedly made 16 phone calls to the woman, threatening to burn her residence. Upon arrest, he reportedly struck his head against the patrol car’s interior.
In a separate incident, a woman in Bismarck informed police that Sartain sent her a video depicting explicit content with a child present, as well as a photograph of the unclothed child.
Sartain is currently held at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center. He faces charges including terrorizing, disorderly conduct, harassment through repeated phone calls, use of a minor in a sexual performance, dissemination of obscene material, and child neglect. His next court appearance is scheduled for February 12.
