to juveniles are fighting for their lives and two adults were killed after being trapped in a house Bernie from a heavy fire that the blaze was reported just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on the south end of Hibbing crews arrived at scene at 146 and went into the house to rescue those trapped inside coming out with the victims within seven minutes all four did not have a pulse and were not breathing two of them both the adults died the other two both juveniles were resuscitated on the scene and flown to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries a fifth person also a juvenile escaped the home before first responder responders arrived and had minor injuries the victims haven’t been a public identified crews battled sub-zero temps windchill hit minus 38 and had the fire out at 4:30 9 a.m. it’s a heavy day for the Hibbing Fire Department and we sent our condolences to the family of this terrible tragedy the department wrote on Facebook how the fire started hasn’t been determined yet but the fire department reminded people to test their smoke alarms and look through their house for possible fire hazards
