According to court documents, the incident unfolded on January 24, 2025, just after 9:00 PM, when police attempted to locate Rodriguez for missing a check-in date after his electronic home monitoring ended.
- Upon spotting officers, Rodriguez attempted to escape on a bicycle.
- After ditching the bike, he continued fleeing on foot.
- He was eventually found hiding inside a garage.
Drug Possession and Jail Incident
- When taken into custody, Rodriguez was allegedly found with a pipe containing methamphetamine residue and marijuana.
- While being booked into jail, he was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance inside the correctional facility.
