GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA (trfnews.i234.me)—A Grand Forks man, Alfred Gardner-Haywood, has been charged with felony theft of property, according to court records.

The charges stem from a February 1st incident when police responded to an argument between Haywood and the victim, who accused him of stealing their wallet. During the investigation, authorities reviewed surveillance footage that allegedly showed Haywood pulling the wallet from his pocket and discarding it near the victim’s door.

While the wallet was recovered, an undetermined amount of cash was reportedly missing. The case is now proceeding through the legal system as Haywood faces felony theft charges.
