Grand Forks County Man Charged After Alleged Drunken Assault – Shocking Details!

Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — Allegations of a brutal domestic assault have rocked Grand Forks County as Thomas James Buckles faces serious felony charges following a terrifying incident on March 10th.

According to court documents, Buckles allegedly came home intoxicated and turned violent. When the female victim attempted to call 911, he reportedly slapped her, shoved her against a door, and strangled her. The victim further alleged that Buckles threw her onto her head twice and destroyed surveillance cameras in the home.

When officers confronted Buckles, he reportedly admitted, “I snapped, man. I overreacted. I’ve been drinking.”

As a result, Buckles now faces two felony charges:
⚖️ Domestic violence causing serious bodily injury
⚖️ Interference with a 911 call
Additionally, he has been hit with a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge.
