Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me)— On Monday, April 7, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., the Grand Forks Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire inside the garage of a residence located at 3121 Cherry Street, near 32nd Avenue South. Upon arrival, fire crews encountered a vehicle engulfed in flames within the attached garage. They swiftly extinguished the fire, containing the damage primarily to the garage area. The vehicle was declared a total loss. While the garage sustained significant fire damage, the rest of the house experienced moderate smoke damage. The residents and their pets were displaced due to the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the occupants or fire service personnel. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
