At approximately 11:00 a.m., fire was reported in the grain leg of the Barney elevator, a key structure used to store and transfer grain. Responding departments included Barney, Wyndmere, and Dwight, all working swiftly to contain the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fire was kept from spreading to nearby structures, thanks to the rapid response from local fire crews.
