GRAFTON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Fire destroys much of hotel in Grafton, North Dakota. Fire at the Economy Hotel was reported before 5 a.m. on this Wednesday. Firefighters say flames were coming from the roof when they arrived on the scene.
neil carlson here in uh grafton with some breaking news about the quarter to five this morning firefighters called to the econo hotel that’s still on the scene here uh fire chief jeff mull assistant assistant fire chief so uh anybody get hurt no everybody got out pd was here got everybody out uh when we were in route and okay kind of took it from there started in the corner of the building and i was paged out as an outlet fire uh when we got here there was flames coming out of the roof so okay no idea exactly what caused this yet not a hundred percent no fire marshals what were there folks staying here last night they’re pretty much full oh really yeah okay and again everybody got out okay correct yes it looks like it’s pretty much uh a lot of its total there yeah we stopped it at 18 and i guess on 2029 we stopped it at so okay you guys uh nobody got hurt got it out everybody’s good okay all right thanks for talking to me you bet all right uh neil carlson again here grappling just heard the fire here kind of hotel still on the scene here getting out hot spots this morning again as the assistant she said no injuries but some major damage here at this uh hotel demographic now this is on highway 17 just on the uh a west edge of town as it was just as she said it was uh pretty much full here last night but everyone got out safe in grafton i’m neil girls reporting for inews dot tv
