Goodhue County: Two Vehicles Collide Head-On Along Hwy 61 in Lake City – Three Injured

Goodhue County (trfnews.i234.me) — A serious head-on collision occurred Tuesday afternoon on March 18, 2025, on Highway 61 just north of Milepost 76 in Lake City, Goodhue County, leaving three people injured.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Toyota Sienna, driven by Maymie Irene Hagedorn, age 60, of Lake City, was traveling southbound when it struck a 2021 Chevy Traverse headed northbound, driven by Tracy Ann Kinneman, age 57, of Hager City, Wisconsin.

The crash occurred under dry road conditions around 3:52 p.m. Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Hagedorn was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital, while Kinneman was treated at Lake City Hospital.

A passenger in the Toyota Sienna, Mark Davis Muenzhuber, age 53, also of Lake City, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Lake City Hospital.

Responding agencies included the Lake City Police Department and Lake City Ambulance.

Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not involved in this incident.
