Faribault County (trfnews.i234.me)—A collision involving a cow occurred on April 5, 2025, at 20:52 on westbound I-90, near milepost 127, in Emerald Township, Faribault County. A 2017 GMC Terrain, driven by Rhonda Gee Fowler, 52, of Jackson, MN, collided with a cow that had entered the roadway.
Fowler was wearing her seat belt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Mayo Clinic Rochester for treatment. Airbags deployed in the vehicle during the impact, but alcohol was not involved in the crash. The road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
Emergency responders from Frost Fire and Ambulance, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, and Blue Earth Police Department assisted at the scene.
