GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Grand Forks Police surround an armed man found lying on a lawn this morning. He was taken into custody.
We had a large police presence with officers, guns drawn, surround a man about 7:00 on this uh Wednesday morning. This was uh on the lawn at 17th Street and uh 12th Avenue South in that area. Uh talked with Sergeant Peton who says a man was uh reported lying on the lawn and when police approached, he rolled over and they could see he had a gun. He was slow to comply but finally did and was taken into custody. Uh this morning he was being taken in for evaluation and may be tied to more.
