Gerry was raised on a farm just Northwest of Argyle, MN.  Gerry went to the parochial school and her later years of high school.  She met and dated Lowell Lindemoen in her later years of high school.  Gerry and Lowell were married on October 10, 1950, at Argyle and were married for 58 years.  The couple moved many times, living in rural Radium, rural Thief River Falls, Hallock, Lancaster, Viking, and Newfolden.  In October of 1972, Lowell and Gerry made their last move to the “Old Art Swan Farm” west of Newfolden.

Gerry was able to live on her own in her home, making it to 90 years old.  Then in January of 2022, she moved to the Karlstad Nursing Home.  For some months, she was able to be at the assisted living part.
