Garry McLain, 58, of Gilbert, AZ and formerly of Larimore, ND passed away on August 10, 2023. Garry was born on June 27, 1965 in Northwood, ND to Bob and Ann McLain. He grew up in Larimore and later moved to Grand Forks. After high school he worked for McLain Steel and Construction Co and attended UND. He moved to Arizona in the 80’s where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry Riddle in Prescott, AZ. He had a passion for flying airplanes. Garry is survived by his Wife, Gail; Daughters, Savannah, Sherman Oaks, CA and Cheyenne, Scottsdale, AZ; Brother, Larry (Melissa), Harper’s Ferry, WV; Sisters, Gayle Wingo, Hilton Head Island, SC and Pattie/Trish (Dale) Winter, Phoenix, AZ; In-laws, Max and Maxine Grenard, LaJunta, Co and several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents, Mother-in-law, and a Niece. Garry will be deeply missed by all the wonderful people he met throughout his life. A private service was held.
