GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A man has been charged in connection with a July robbery at a Walmart in Grand Forks. According to court documents, the incident occurred on July 27th when police responded to a robbery report at the store.
An employee informed the police that Gabriel Longtail was seen placing items into a backpack. When the employee confronted Longtail past the point of sale, Longtail allegedly pulled out a knife and ordered the employee to “walk away.” Longtail then fled the scene in a vehicle accompanied by a woman who has not been charged.
Surveillance video and photos from Facebook helped identify and lead to the arrest of Longtail. He is now facing felony robbery and misdemeanor theft of property charges.
