everyone Neil Berg here in Erskine Minnesota where this massive shop went up in flames yesterday afternoon quality railcar repair it was used to refurbish railroad cars the cause of the fire is still under investigation no one was injured a local firefighter says flames were already coming through the roof of the building when they arrived on the scene Wednesday afternoon the earth can fire department was assisted by firefighters from surrounding communities the facility is owned by quality railcar repair which works on repairing rail cars across the United States and Canada locals estimate 20 to 30 people work here no word yet on the status of their jobs as we move into the Christmas season I received a no comment from a local company official on erskine however I have reached out to the company’s president who is expected here sometime today if we receive any new information we’ll pass it along to you in Erskine I’m Neil Berg reporting for I news TV
