Bancroft Township (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car occurred Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 90 in Freeborn County, sending one woman to the hospital.

The incident took place at 3:26 p.m. on June 3, 2025, near milepost 158 in Bancroft Township. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, both vehicles were traveling eastbound when a 2007 Ford Focus, driven by 69-year-old Titian Elizabeth Butash of Austin, MN, collided with a 2020 Peterbilt semi-truck operated by 33-year-old Spencer John Theis of Belle Plaine.

Butash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Austin Hospital. Theis was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and no airbags deployed. Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor.

Responding agencies included Clarks Grove Fire/Rescue and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
