Former Manager Charged, VFW Experiences Significant Financial Loss

FRAZEE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) The former manager of the VFW in Frazee, Minnesota is facing a string of criminal charges, after $68,000 went missing.
Anne T. Omundson of Frazee has been charged with 4 felony level charges: Theft, (2) Theft by Swindle and False Representation of Unemployment Benefits.
the VFW Club in Frazee Minnesota has taken a major Financial hit the suspect is its former manager 47 year old Antoinette amundsen of Frazee she’s facing four felony charges including two charges of theft by Swindle theft and unemployment benefits false representation and gross misdemeanor gambling fraud claims prize by fraud according to court documents amundsen was the manager of the Frazee VFW and audit showed 68 666 dollars went missing between March of 2021 and February of 2022. according to the criminal complaint no deposits were made for many days and sometimes weeks surveillance video shows amundsen was the only person to handle the cash the investigation also showed Amazon spent a twenty thousand ninety nine dollars playing gaming etabs after hours which is prohibited amundsen also allegedly withdrew 6250 from the VFW scholarship fund which she was not authorized to do and she allegedly received a 5219 dollars of unemployment benefits while working at the VFW plus as for the gambling fraud charge she allegedly used just another person’s name to cash in winning pool tab tickets in the amount of eight hundred dollars amundsen’s first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday June 1st I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

  1. The VFW should fire the Post Commander and the Post Quartermaster and the Post Trustees for allowing this to happen. They are responsible for letting a outsider handle the money and check books, probably because they’re too dumb or lazy to do their jobs.
