The incident occurred near the intersection of Pembina Trail Road and 130th Street Northwest. According to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Ridge Jones of Thief River Falls was operating a tow truck to extract a car from a ditch at the specified location. During this operation, a northbound 2025 Volvo, driven by Marcus Baillargeon of Middle River, impacted the tow truck’s cable.
