Neil Berg here in Polk County on a Sunday evening where we have a state highway washed out this is highway 102 some five miles north of fertile Minnesota are about 15 miles southeast of Crookston now here’s a photo from an i news viewer of the actual washout site we’re being kept back here ways on the north side but as you can see the road is almost gone here about five miles north of fertile now the problem here is water coming in from the east across farm fields as you can see here Road ditches are full as that water makes its way to the nearby Sand Hill River and eventually over to the Red River and things will start running more freely here soon this week as the temperature warms up again highway 102 about five miles north of fertile Minnesota is closed it’s washed out I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news dot TV
