Five people injured after vehicle rolls

Five Manitobans were injured after their pickup truck rolled Thursday evening in rural Pennington County.

Injured was: Ashley Jolene Boulanger, 38

Annabelle Jolene Boulanger, 9

Brody Gilbert Boulanger, 10

Eli Freddy Cochrane, 12

Raiden Jesmond Cochrane, 14

They were taken to Sanford Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report.

Another occupant, 38- year-old Elliot Alfred Cochrane, reported no injuries.

All occupants are from Winnipeg and were wearing their seat belts.

At the time of the acci­dent, Ashley Boulanger was driving a 2009 Chevy Silverado southbound on Highway 59 in Smiley Township.

According to the report, her pickup truck spun out on the ice-covered highway, traveled off of the highway, and rolled into a ditch.

The State Patrol was dispatched to the scene at 5:31 p.m. Thursday.

Sanford Ambulance, the Thief River Falls Fire Department, Thief River Falls Police Department, and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
