Firefighter Rescues Woman from Red River in Fargo on Saturday

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A Fargo firefighter rescued a woman from the Red River late on this Saturday afternoon.
breaking news out of Fargo North Dakota at uh 4:30 p.m. on this Saturday afternoon we had a report of a female on the river this would be at 52nd Avenue South at covenant Landing here’s some of the radio traffic2 arrived on body is in the river just in front of convent Landing 802 I assume your first in or 807 you’ll be immediately going into the water and now you heard the word body there but the woman is alive here’s battalion Chief Joe manin when she was breathing on her own we weren’t having to assist the with breathing at all um you know outside of that our time was very short with her we immediately got her um out of her wet clothes and wrapped in some dry warm blankets and put into the back of an ambulance unit to be sent to Sanford hospital was she able to get in there by herself then or no we we did all that work when we have hypothermic patients we try to move them as little as possible and we take care of all of those motions within 60 seconds of arrival on scene we had the patient out of the water where was she kind of over in that area when we arrived she was actually right directly in front of the landing behind me here okay so it was it was as close as we were going to get wow some good news on a Saturday afternoon a female pulled from the Red River in Fargo no word yet on how she got there but uh uh good news we’ll update this story later with uh more information I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
