Felony Suspect Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Stolen Vehicle in Minot

MINOT, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me)Minot police apprehended 30-year-old Terrance D. Covington of Natchez, Mississippi, after a brief high-speed chase Friday night. Covington, wanted on multiple felony charges, was spotted driving a stolen caravan in the 3100 block of 16th Street SW around 9:00 p.m.

When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, Covington fled, leading police on a short pursuit that ended when the stolen van crashed into a tree near the UND Center for Family Medicine. Covington attempted to flee on foot but was quickly arrested by officers.

Covington faces multiple felony charges, including armed robbery, domestic violence with serious bodily injury, terrorizing, theft of a motor vehicle, and fleeing in a motor vehicle during the commission of a felony. He is currently being held at the Ward County Jail.
