Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) – Anisia Tatiana Rustand, age 36, of Bemidji, has been arrested again and is now facing a felony 1st-degree DWI charge after a traffic stop late on May 31, 2025, revealed signs of recent methamphetamine and fentanyl use.
According to court records, Deputy Lavonte Hardie observed erratic driving behavior at a red light on Bemidji Avenue North. Rustand reportedly showed multiple signs of impairment including glassy eyes, sweating, sporadic movements, and admitted she would test positive for meth and fentanyl.
Field sobriety tests confirmed impairment, and a urine sample was collected under a search warrant. This is not Rustand’s first encounter with the law—she was previously convicted of felony DWI in 2022 and is currently on conditional release. Her criminal record includes felony threats of violence, giving a false name, and another felony DWI.
If convicted, Rustand faces up to 7 years in prison and/or a $14,000 fine under Minnesota Statute 169A.24.2.
