Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On April 3 at about 11:52 a.m., police received a report of a domestic assault in the 200 block of Merriam Ave. N.
Adam Thomas Nelson, 37, Beltrami, has been charged with felony domestic assault.
He was arrested.
According to the complaint, the woman said Nelson suffered an anxiety attack, said he couldn’t go to work and asked her to apologize for something she hadn’t done. She apologized anyway. At one point, Nelson allegedly grabbed her, brought her into the living room and said, “Now it will be on camera.” She told him to let her go, and she was able to go to a bedroom. He followed her and tried pulling her down onto a bed, but she pushed him away.
Nelson then allegedly headbutted her in the left cheekbone. The complaint indicated that Nelson had been convicted of two other offenses of domestic assault on March 30, 2021, in Polk County.
It was unclear whether the victim was the same individual as the alleged victim in the above case.
