Marta Patricia Valencia of Bemidji faces charges of felony domestic assault and misdemeanor damage to property. On June 12th, officers responded to a residence on Ridgeway Avenue, where Valencia allegedly caused damage inside the home and pushed the victim down a flight of stairs.
Mataya Marie Preston of Glenwood, Minnesota, has been charged with felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. Court records indicate that Preston fled a traffic stop in Bemidji, reaching speeds up to 110 mph. The pursuit ended on the Red Lake reservation when officers executed a PIT maneuver to stop her vehicle.
Oscar Ernesto Luna of Mission, Texas, who was previously cleared in a sex case earlier this year, now faces charges of felony possession of methamphetamine in a school or public housing zone. Luna was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by police, leading to the discovery of the drugs.
