DEVILS LAKE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the victims involved in a fatal car-semi crash near Devils Lake, North Dakota Friday morning.

Narrative: Glen Lucas was traveling eastbound on US Highway 2 in Lane 2 adjacent to the right shoulder of the roadway. Joann Burt was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of US Highway 2 to access a median crossover to travel west from a private driveway. Lucas steered left to avoid a collision but was unable to do so and struck Burt at a right angle. Burt was transported by ambulance to CHI Saint Alexius Hospital in Devils Lake where she died from injuries sustained in the crash. This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
