Fargo, North Dakota ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Authorities are investigating a fatal workplace accident reported Thursday morning at Mid America Steel in Fargo.
According to Fargo police, officers were dispatched at 9:36 a.m. to the 5100 block of 19th Avenue North for a workplace injury. When they arrived, they found an employee who had sustained life-threatening injuries in an incident at the facility.
Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance crews also responded. The victim was transported to a local healthcare facility, but despite life-saving efforts, the individual died from their injuries.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
