A tragic motorcycle crash on Highway 1804 near mile marker 341, southwest of Williston, claimed the life of a 41-year-old man from Culbertson, MT, late Saturday night, September 7, 2024. The single-vehicle rollover occurred at approximately 11:39 PM CST when the 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle veered off the road into the north ditch.
The male driver, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Williston. His passenger, a 40-year-old woman from Yreka, CA, also not wearing a helmet, was transported to the same hospital with serious injuries.
The identities of the driver and passenger are still under investigation. Local authorities, including the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, and Williston emergency services, responded to the scene.
